My name is Ed Sanchas. I’m a water enthusiast. If I could live on the water, I would. I love diving, snorkeling, boating, fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. During my travels, my wife and I have wanted to go kayaking in particular places; however, no kayaks were to be found. This gave me the idea for my kayak and paddleboard drop-off, delivery business, Mobile Kayaks.
We rent kayaks and paddleboards to popular water spots in Newport, Middletown and Portsmouth Rhode Island. Mobile Kayaks provides Rhode Islanders and visitors alike with a hassle free family and friends paddling experience at a convenient location chosen by you. Whether you're a spontaneous local seeking outdoor recreation or a visitor wanting to explore, Mobile Kayaks provides you with the opportunity to adventure along the Ocean State's shoreline. I’ll bring kayaks, paddleboards (or both) right to you!
We are a mobile delivery service. Unlike renting from a storefront, when you rent a kayak or paddleboard from us we'll meet you at the water’s edge of your choice. Simply call us with day, time, and location to meet you with your rental. Please call in advance to reserve your peaceful adventure, as our equipment availability is limited. We accept all major credit cards and cash.
We’re striving to accommodate you with a schedule that fits into your plans. That’s why we are open 7 Days a Week from the months of May through October. Yup, that’s every day from 8 AM until 8 PM.
